If you’re a heavy-duty equipment mechanic, hydraulic mechanic, automotive mechanic, marine mechanic, crane mechanic, elevator mechanic, hydraulic technician or millwright with a few years of experience we want you to join Falcon Equipment! We are hiring heavy duty mechanics (apprentices 3rd level and up) in our Surrey Install shop.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Install truck equipment and body components on chassis and completed vehicles
• Mechanical assembly and installation of aftermarket vehicle equipment
• Install hydraulic systems, components, and hose routing
• Perform basic to intermediate electrical installations and wiring
• Read and interpret build diagrams, schematics, and installation instructions
• Diagnose and troubleshoot installation issues
• Conduct final testing and quality inspections
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Work effectively both independently and within a team environment

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of related experience with heavy equipment installations and/or maintenance
• Solid mechanical skills with the ability to troubleshoot problems and read schematics
• The ability to maneuver in and around heavy equipment
• The ability to work independently
• Your own tools
• Hydraulic and electrical experience and knowledge is a definite asset
• Welding experience and welding C Ticket are a definite asset
