At Falcon Equipment, we deeply value the communities where we operate and believe in the importance of giving back. We understand that our people are the cornerstone of our success. To support and empower our employees, we have implemented a range of programs aimed at their well-being. From professional development opportunities to family benefit initiatives, we invest in our team members to ensure they thrive both at work and in their personal lives.

Our commitment to community involvement and employee wellbeing is reflected in the following initiatives.

The Rick Kielan Foundation

In 2022, when our Founder, Rick Kielan, retired, we celebrated his legacy by establishing the Rick Kielan Foundation. This foundation serves as a tribute to the values that Rick held: giving back, nurturing relationships, and demonstrating unwavering determination. Through the foundation, we aim to support and empower not only our employees but also their families and our wider community. Rick has a footprint at Falcon that will never be forgotten and can be felt in the relationships and culture we share.

Employee Bursary

Our Employee Bursary program is designed to ease the financial burden of post-secondary education for our employees and their immediate family members. Each year, two bursaries are awarded to assist with the costs of the Fall and Spring semesters.

Employee Vacation

To show our appreciation for the dedication and hard work of our employees, we offer an annual vacation giveaway. This giveaway is drawn at random, providing one lucky employee and their family the opportunity to enjoy a vacation of their choice.

Non-Profit Organization Partnerships

Since 2021, TeamUp has been Falcon Equipment's esteemed non-profit partner. We collaborate on various initiatives throughout the year, including the "12 Builds of Christmas" and golf tournaments, among others. TeamUp is a non-profit organization committed to community development through sports. They partner with local organizations, both domestically and internationally, to create opportunities for children and youth. Their programs focus on physical, mental, and emotional well-being while fostering important life skills.

We take great pride in supporting the local communities where we have branches. Falcon Equipment actively contributes to local food banks and shelters on a case-by-case basis. Our head office branch, supports the Surrey Food Bank through events like the Falcon Crane Rodeo 50/50 raffle, donates Christmas Hampers to the Cloverdale Community Kitchen, and conducts food drives for the food bank. We encourage all our locations to engage with their communities, whether through fundraising efforts or volunteer work. Together, with the collective efforts of our dedicated team and the support of our community partners, we aim to make a lasting positive impact on the communities we call home.

 

Falcon Cares

Falcon Cares is an employee-driven initiative that provides assistance to our team members and their families during challenging times. Employees can request support for themselves or nominate a colleague or family member in need. Our employees can voluntarily contribute to this program, making a meaningful difference in the lives of their colleagues.
